2017 - Why Would You Eat There?

A collaboration between Tasted and Zagat’s youtube channels. ‘Why Would You Eat There’ would see us taking the WWYET spirit on the road as we sought out interesting and historical restaurants to dine in. Every episode was two parts- the first would largely be an animated retelling of the restaurant’s historical significance or fascinating story behind it. The other would dive more deeply in to the food. The subjects of the episodes run the gamut from a family restaurant in a cave that began as a speakeasy to a hip lounge space in the basement of Los Angeles’ very first electric powered building.
