2018 - ‘Alternative Maps’

Every map has a history- and these are just some of their most interesting stories. From ‘why a nuclear sub crashed’ to the traps map-makers would invent to protect their work, Alternative Maps sought to tell a interesting slice of history in a visually compelling way and received almost 17 million views across it’s five episodes on Facebook alone.

On behalf of Mashable, I produced Alternative Maps from the ideation stage for the Facebook Watch platform. Working with talented creators in their own right, Michael Johnson and Casey Redmon, we combined found footage and animation to make a super premium piece of infotainment I’m extremely proud of. To cap it off with narration by wrestling superstar Chris Jericho was just icing on the cake.
